Just here for a good time

My Biggest Accomplishment of 2017

So far my biggest accomplishment of 2017 has been to leave Budapest.

I got sucked in for almost 3 weeks and only just now managed to get out. And actually, the only reason for that is because my schengen days were steadily nearing 90, but instead of getting out of the zone and heading to Belgrade, I’m in the Netherlands attempting to get a working holiday visa. There’s so much to see in Eastern Europe and I’ll definitely be going there but I want the freedom to be able to revisit places within the zone. I’m cutting it extremely close (my days run out on the 19th of January) but I’m going to risk it, and if that fails, run off to Serbia and Romania. As most of you will already know, I am extremely challenged when it comes to anything involving: responsibility, paperwork, and organization, so all I can do is hope this goes smoothly. The 20 hour bus ride from Budapest to Eindhoven better have been worth it!

Excellent! Although I hear you are heading back so perhaps this is half an accomplishment. Getting the Visa is a big one though!

Hey Tash! Happy (very belated) New Year! I have enjoyed following your tracks and have learned something new each time about these places! 🙂 Looking forward to more stories and photos…
